[China] Wuyi Mountain, a World Heritage Site with a unique horseshoe-shaped river

Mount Wuyi, a World Heritage Site in Fujian Province, China

This mountain is known for its beautiful scenery and clear waters, and is said to be one of China's top 5A scenic areas that Chinese people want to visit at least once in their lifetime, along with Huangshan and Guilin.

It was registered as a World Heritage Site in 1999.

The vast nature reserve of 57,000 square kilometers is full of things to see, and the scenic landscapes created by rivers and karst topography stretch out endlessly.

Particularly popular spots are:

・The horseshoe-shaped valley "Tianyou Peak"

- "Jiuquxi" where you can go down the river on a 9km long bamboo raft

- "Kosho Rock" where the legend of a tiger and a hermit remains

- "Ichisenten" a long and narrow stone staircase with only a 40cm gap

- "Wuyi Palace" located deep in the mountains

The scenic area is so large that it is impossible to see everything in one day.
