📍 Must-Visit Spots:
1. **Jiuquxi Bamboo Rafting**: A must-do in Wuyishan. Book online [!] and aim for the first rafting slot (midday/afternoon trips get very hot). The 90-minute ride ends with a visit to Wuyi Palace.
2. **Tianyou Peak**: Climb 1,000+ steps for a panoramic view of Jiuquxi. [!] Start early to spot morning rafts (Photo 5); fewer rafts in the afternoon.
3. **Dahongpao Scenic Area**: The 300-year-old Dahongpao Mother Trees are the iconic highlight, representing Wuyi rock tea and hailed as the "King of Tea."
4. **Baiyun Temple**: Offers stunning views from the top, though the final stretch is steep (unsuitable for kids/elderly). Perfect for sunrise (Photo 10) and post-rain sea of clouds.
5. **"Impression Dahongpao" Live Show**: Requires booking. We skipped it.
This time, we avoided the popular Sangu Resort area for lodging.
🏨 **For families with elderly/children**, 👍 Wuyishan Jiuqu Green Land Pullman Hotel (near Jiuquxi Bamboo Raft Dock) is ideal. It’s close to shuttle stops, restaurants (though fewer than Sangu Resort), and surrounded by nature—forests, lawns, and the Jiuqu River. Kids can catch fish under Jiuqu Bridge. Location perks:
① Steps from the dock for early rafting.
② 40-min walk to Baiyun Temple for sunrise.
③ Scenic Jiuqu Riverside Trail nearby, with Xianfan Rock Tea Factory en route for tea-making demos.
④ Short shuttle/taxi ride to Yanzikou Ecological Tea Garden, showcasing breathtaking tea terraces.
