π Near Xi'an, there is a place that looks like a fairyland in autumn: Gui Peak. This mountain is famous for its unique shape, which resembles a "gui" (a jade tablet used in ancient China). It is a place of natural beauty and historical charm.
π Gui Peak is located in Taiping Valley, Huyi District, Xi'an. It is like a bright pearl embedded in the embrace of the Qinling Mountains. There is no entrance fee, and it is open to the public for free, allowing people to enjoy the gifts of nature.
π The best time to see the red leaves on Gui Peak is from mid-October to early November. At this time, Gui Peak looks like a painting carefully drawn by nature, beautiful as a picture. π
π£ Hiking on Gui Peak is a round trip of 9 km, which takes about 3 to 5 hours. Gui Peak is surrounded by cliffs on three sides, with only the southern slope being relatively gentle, providing hikers with a challenging and scenic experience. The route starts from Xi'an, passes through Taiping Valley and mountain farms, and finally reaches the top of Gui Peak, then returns to Xi'an along Taiping Valley.
β
The scenery along the way is breathtaking. The red leaves cover the mountains like clouds and fire, turning the whole mountain into a colorful painting. Each red leaf seems to tell a story of autumn, making people intoxicated and reluctant to leave. π₯°
π’ Golden Turtle Watching the Sun: As part of the Longhu Mountain - Gui Peak Geopark and the World Natural Heritage "China Danxia," the whole mountain looks like a huge turtle with its head raised, making people marvel at the wonders of nature.
β© The Nantian Gate on the top of the mountain has a long history. Although the exact year is unknown, its ancient charm makes people feel the sediment of time. Passing through the Nantian Gate, the view is wide open, as if you are in the clouds, truly "clouds rise in layers." π
π Transportation:
1οΈβ£ Drive to [Jiafotang Village] ππ It takes about 1 hour from downtown Xi'an;
