Beyond its legendary Terracotta Warriors and historic city walls, Xi’an is blessed with beautiful parks where locals gather for tai chi, music, and quiet reflection. Stroll the serene Tang Paradise, a vast garden of lakes, lanterns, and Tang Dynasty-style pavilions. Wander the flower-filled paths of Revolution Park, or bike along the shady lanes of the Xi’an City Wall Park, which wraps around the old town with views of ancient ramparts. In spring, Lotus Palace Park bursts with cherry blossoms, while summer evenings bring open-air concerts and dancing under softly lit trees.
Getting There 🚇
Take the Metro to Dayanta Station for Tang Paradise or Zhonglou Station for City Wall Park entrances. Buses and shared bikes make park-hopping easy.
Tickets & Hours 🎟️
City Wall Park is free and open all day. Tang Paradise entry is about ¥120 RMB (~$16 USD), open 9 a.m.–9 p.m.
