Xiamen City Walk: A One-Day Itinerary to Avoid Crowds and Explore Delicious Food

Today's recommended one-day tour route in Xiamen focuses on food and coffee.

Route reference: Xingfu Road → Gugong Road → Xinhua Road → Zhongshan Road

If you have enough time and a big appetite, you can combine this route with another city walk route I posted earlier (Xian Road → Douxi Road → Huaxin Road → Gongyuan West Road) for a more comprehensive tour!

1. 'Xingfu Road' has a wonderful name, and the atmosphere of the shops here gives a sense of happiness. The area mainly features coffee shops and dessert shops. My personal recommendation is to try 'Ship to Bridge Naturally Straight,' a very unique place with great creative new products.

2. 'Gugong Road' is also a street with a strong local vibe. I mainly recommend three places here: the coffee shop 'Sundial Coffee,' the fried food shop 'Mama Cai's,' and the tofu pudding shop 'Li Juying's Tofu Pudding.'

3. 'Xinhua Road' is home to some unique old shops. You can stop by and try some local delicacies like ginger duck.

4. 'Zhongshan Road' is a must-visit area for many tourists in Xiamen. However, most people start from the other direction, so the east entrance I recommend today is less crowded. The street is spacious, perfect for taking photos without the crowd. You can leisurely walk towards Zhonghua City.
