Xiamen Island Ring Road in December: Don't come to Xiamen without a plan!

Traveling to Xiamen in December: Xiamen is so much fun in the off-season! The weather has been great recently, so I've put together a guide to the Island Ring Road for you all ✔️

🚌 Bus: Routes 18/29/B8, etc. all go there
👉🏻 Xiamen Bus Route 29 is a real treasure. You can take it to enjoy the sea view of Xiamen all the way.

🛵 Island Ring Road cycling route guide:
1️⃣ Yefengzhai Beach → Huangcuo Beach → Wanyuepo → Music Square → Zengcuo'an → Calligraphy Square → Pearl Bay → Baicheng Beach
👉🏻 It takes about 2–3 hours. The whole road is along the coastline, and the scenery is beautiful. It is recommended to set off at around 13:00 in the afternoon.
2️⃣ Huangcuo Beach → Wanyuepo → Yefengzhai
👉🏻 It takes about 40 minutes. You can watch the sunrise at Huangcuo Beach in the morning and then walk around. The scenery here is great and perfect for taking photos.
3️⃣ Pearl Bay → Calligraphy Square → Zengcuo'an → Music Square → Wanggui Tower Sunset
👉🏻 It takes about an hour. Pearl Bay and Music Square are great for taking photos, so it is recommended to choose this route in the afternoon.

🌊 Island Ring Road travel tips
👉🏻 Choose a good weather day to go at around 13:00 in the afternoon. If the weather is bad, the sea will look gray and not so nice.
👉🏻 The wind is strong by the sea, so keep warm.
👉🏻 There are many seaside cafes near Yefengzhai and Huangcuo Beach. You can choose to have a cup of coffee and enjoy the sea view here.
👉🏻 There is also the Xiamen Mountain and Sea Trail nearby, and Wanggui Tower is a great place to watch the sunset.
👉🏻 Xiamen's attractions are relatively concentrated. Xiamen University, Shapowei, Botanical Garden, Zhongshan Road, Bashi, Gulangyu Island, etc. are all nearby.
