| Xiamen Baqi Courtyard by Marriott Hotel. Located on the Island Ring Road next to Gaoqi Airport on the main island, with Jimei Bridge nearby.
🏨 Opened in 2020, it served as a quarantine hotel for several years during the pandemic, so I only stayed there for one night this year. About a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport, but the surrounding area is quite desolate. Suitable for layovers or staycations, even food delivery is difficult to order.
🛋️ For my first stay, I was upgraded to an Executive Ocean View Suite, 82 square meters. The view is absolutely amazing, better than Thailand. Rumored to be the best Courtyard property in China, and with prices usually around 500+ yuan, it's definitely a great value!
