Struck gold in Xiamen! This Courtyard by Marriott is absolutely amazing to stay at!

From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was hooked. The modern minimalist design incorporates subtle Southern Fujian elements, with warm yellow lighting that instantly eased half my travel fatigue. The check-in process was super smooth - the front desk staff had the sweetest smiles and thoughtfully offered welcome tea (refreshing winter melon tea), immediately making me feel Xiamen's warmth.

The room deserves special praise! Even the standard room I booked was incredibly spacious. Floor-to-ceiling windows flooded the space with natural light - sipping coffee by the window during the day made me feel completely relaxed. The bedding had perfect firmness, like sinking into a cloud. After a day of business meetings, I fell asleep the moment my head hit the pillow - sleep quality was top-notch! The bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation, instant hot water, and came with full toiletries featuring a light, pleasant fragrance - major plus points!

Breakfast offered great variety too, featuring local specialties like satay noodles and sea worm jelly, along with made-to-order omelets and fresh fruits. A leisurely meal here guaranteed an energetic start to the day!

The location is fantastic - not far from the subway station, convenient for visiting Gulangyu Island and Zhongshan Road, with plenty of great local eateries nearby for evening strolls and food adventures.

Overall, this stay deserves full marks! I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next Xiamen trip. Perfect for both business travelers and tourists - absolutely no regrets!
