Xiamen The Seven Hotel - A Must-Visit Hotel

🏨 Experience a Resort-Level Seaside Getaway
For the first stop of my Xiamen trip, I chose The Seven Hotel. From the moment I checked in, I was immersed in a strong vacation vibe—spacious rooms, open views, and an overall architectural and greenery layout full of aesthetic appeal. Every plant and detail exudes design sophistication, making it perfect for those who appreciate fine details.

About the Design ✨
Three design teams (architecture & interiors, landscaping, and lighting)—all foreign—seamlessly integrated Eastern and Xiamen culture into every corner of the hotel through diverse elements and design language.

The Room ✨
The room layout unfolds along a central axis, with symmetrical design showcasing the beauty of Chinese spatial aesthetics—serene and comfortable.

The king bed sits at the center of the room, facing the window so that every morning begins with a stunning view. The overall color palette follows Layan’s signature style (seen in Puli and Pujin), inheriting URC’s Eastern aesthetic while refining it into a more minimalist, modern expression. Wood, terracotta bricks, and rattan accents add a cozy, homely atmosphere.

The Ambiance ✨
Back to the point—the hotel is stunning, with "Zen" and "nature" as its core design concepts. The interiors and public areas feature expansive beige and wood tones, paired with carefully curated greenery, making it easy to feel calm and relaxed.

Breakfast Buffet ✨
I tried most of the à la carte options, and the Quanzhou beef noodles were the standout—rich, flavorful broth with tender, smooth beef. The waffles were also excellent, though the satay noodles were just average.

The dessert section was the highlight of the buffet. Several options were outstanding, and I ended up having one every day—far better than expected, as hotel buffet desserts are often mediocre.
