Hidden on a small hill in Shincheng Township, Hualien, the Shincheng Shrine Ruins are a place full of historical traces. Built during the Japanese colonial period, this shrine was an important religious center at the time. Although the complete shrine building is no longer visible, the remnants still allow one to feel the past. After the war, the shrine was dismantled, but the stone lanterns, torii gate, stone steps, and foundations remain, bearing witness to this history. Today, walking up the stone steps, one can still feel the sacred atmosphere of the past.
