Xingyi's Most Magical Waterfall Photo Guide

Fairyland in Xingyi! Spend a day as a wild forest spirit in the Malin River Canyon Waterfall Cluster 🇨🇳
I declare this the most worth revisiting waterfall in Guizhou! Every shot looks like a scene from a battle of immortals 💦

📍 Location: National Highway 324, Xingyi City, Qianxinan
⏰ Opening Hours:
March to October 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (last ticket at 5:30 PM)
November to February 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (last ticket at 5:00 PM)

🌊 Hiking Route
1️⃣ Tiānshēngqiáo Viewing Platform
The canyon’s prime spot! The best viewpoint for the rushing waterfall cluster
📸 Tips: Have the photographer stand on the side walkway and use a telephoto lens to capture silhouette portraits with the waterfall

2️⃣ Rain-sprinkled Banana Corridor
At 30°C summer, it’s only 23°C here! The mist naturally adds a soft light filter
👗 Outfit Tip: Wear a flowing slip dress and capture the skirt swirling with the waterfall in the frame

3️⃣ Pearl Waterfall
Like a fairy spilling a jewelry box! Sunlight refracts to create tiny seven-color rainbows
💦 Hidden Tip: After 3 PM, the mist is minimal, allowing you to capture the clearest water curtain effect

🍜 Canyon Delicacies
Bouyei Five-Color Rice: Glutinous rice balls dyed with natural plants
Waterfall Ice Jelly: Served with local wild rosehip jam

⚠️ Pitfall Prevention Guide
• Don’t come during the dry season from March to May! July to August is the waterfall’s peak season
• Wear non-slip shoes! Mossy stone paths are very slippery
• Bring a waterproof phone pouch! The mist is denser than Evian spray

📸 Top Photo Spots
• Corner of the second Tiānshēngqiáo viewing platform (vertical shots are stunning)
• Stone steps below Pearl Waterfall (sitting and shooting upwards makes legs look super long)
