The Xinhua Su Family Ancient House is a courtyard house located in a small alley in the urban area of ​​Xinhua City. It has a history of more than a hundred years. Today we visited the Su Family Old House. Above the entrance to the hall there were four large characters "Auspiciousness Fills the Door". At the back of the hall there was an old man watering the flowers. After I explained my purpose of visit, I enthusiastically introduced the history of this house to us. This descendant of the Su family is the sixth generation, and is now in the ninth generation (some online information records the tenth generation). Mr. Su explained to us in great detail the building materials and design of the mansion, including how the beams and columns are made of Fuzhou fir wood, the painted stories on the beams serve as a warning to future generations, and the reliefs on the walls on both sides also have representative meanings (I forgot what they meant), and some of the interior decoration details were explained in great detail. Mr. Su also mentioned that some of the information on the Internet was incorrect, including that the mansion was a Siheyuan instead of a Sanheyuan.
