Green grasslands at Nalati Grassland

The Nalati Grassland in the Sky (那拉提空中草原) is located within the Northern Xinjiang area and also one of the common tourist destinations. Due to the large land area in Xinjiang, there are long distances between most attractions. Nalati Grasslands is accessible by day tours from Yining (伊宁) which would be more convenient than public transport.

There are vast grasslands dotted with yurts and snow capped mountains as well as cute animals. There is such a large expanse of land that you don't feel overwhelmed or crowded here even with large numbers of tourists.
