Family Fun in Southern Anhui: Must-Try Stream Trekking & Water Play Guide

How can you miss stream trekking and water play on Southern Anhui's "Tibetan Route"?
Here are some fantastic spots for endless splashing fun🌟✨🌟

1️⃣ Hidden Cloud Café
The first stream we encountered became our longest play stop! With shallow pebble banks and crystal-clear water, it's the perfect summer refresher.
⚠️ Watch for vehicles occasionally driving through the water.

2️⃣ Gehong Immortal Retreat
Another entrance to Xijin Wild Ferry, featuring wide clear waters perfect for rock collecting. Shaded areas nearby are ideal for tent camping🏕️

3️⃣ Banqiao Village
Midway along the route, this lively area has many B&Bs with streams right outside – convenient for quick rest breaks between water play🌊

4️⃣ Ink Wash Creek
Thrilling rafting through alternating rapids and calm sections. Features natural rock slides (wear long sleeves/pants to avoid scrapes).

5️⃣ Zhenye Paradise
A hidden gem for water play, fish catching, and running wild on grassy hills. Stand-up paddleboards available too!

6️⃣ Moon Bay Fish Scale Dam
Man-made terraced dam with gentle currents – perfect for wading in shallow areas.

7️⃣ Secret Stream Spots
Countless unnamed streams dot the route! We found one near Redwood Forest (possibly near a campsite, saw off-road vehicles crossing).
Kids adored catching fish🐟 and playing with smooth stones in the transparent water.

🔖 Pro Tips:
▪️ Bring water guns & fish nets
▪️ Pack dry clothes & water shoes
▪️ Post-rain currents get stronger – prioritize safety
