The stream's source is a volcanic lake on the mountaintop. Millions of years ago, a volcanic eruption created a natural rock pit on the mountaintop. Groundwater filled the pit, turning it into a volcanic lake. The overflowing water then flows down the river channel formed by the volcanic lava eroding the mountainside, finally converging into the Longtouyan Reservoir at the foot of the mountain.
Huaxi's natural beauty is truly breathtaking. Just looking at the long, flat stream alone is breathtaking. The stream is over 3,000 meters long, with 1,080 meters of exposed sections. Its entire bottom is as flat as a knife, free of sand, soil, or rock. It's a great place for skating and cycling.
