Playing in the snow at Yamanakako Park

This is Yamanakako Park, a park right next to a lake with stunning mountain views. The word "beautiful" is a stretch. There are plenty of activities to do, including sightseeing, pedal boats, and a pavilion where you can sit and enjoy the scenery. There's also a convenience store nearby where you can buy groceries and eat. There are also restrooms, so the facilities are all there.

When we went, it was snowing, so the entire park was covered in snow. It was fun to play in. The snow wasn't too deep, but be sure to bring snowshoes and a warm jacket, as it's right next to a lake, making it extra chilly.

It's about an hour and a half from Tokyo. We rented a car and drove there easily. Nature lovers and photography enthusiasts will love this!
