Where to stay in Yan'an? Stay in an oasis full of fairy-like vibes 🍃

Last time I came to Yan'an with friends, I accidentally discovered a hidden gem hotel in the valley called "Yan'an Cuiquan." We stayed in the VIP building, and as soon as we entered the resort, we were captivated by the lush greenery and the unique Yan'an architecture. The cave dwelling design made of antique bricks has a special layered feel, with antique bricks used both inside and outside. Even the lobby has an exhibition hall dedicated to revolutionary martyrs, blending culture and nature perfectly!

🏞️ Environment & Features:
The hotel is tucked away in a valley, surrounded by greenery with exceptionally fresh air (high negative ion content). The view of the surrounding mountains is simply breathtaking! The garden-style design covers a large area. The back mountain park has lawns, swings, trails, as well as a deer park and peacocks, making it a natural oxygen bar plus a small zoo~ The architecture incorporates Yan'an characteristics, with cave dwelling rooms and red brick decorations full of local flavor. Every snapshot is perfect for sharing on social media.

🎢 What to Do:
There are plenty of family-friendly activities! Playground, swimming pool (open in summer), swings, trampolines, and a small forest... Parents can fully relax while kids play. My favorite part is that the hotel is large enough to keep you entertained all day without repetition. The VIP building also has facilities like a piano, so artsy young people can find fun too~

🛎️ Service Experience:
The overall service is very thoughtful, with a quick and proactive front desk that solves problems efficiently. The rooms are very clean, and children's supplies are well prepared. The airport shuttle and electric cart transfers are a big plus! Breakfast is abundant and features local specialties, and dinner was praised by friends traveling with me (highly recommend trying the local dishes).

🌃 Surroundings & Location:
It’s a bit far from the city center, but that’s exactly why it’s so quiet—perfect for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle. The valley location greatly improves sleep quality~ However, it’s recommended to drive yourself or arrange transfers in advance, as public transportation is inconvenient.

🍽️ Hidden Tips:
1️⃣ The cave dwelling rooms in the VIP building are more photogenic; be sure to choose one with a balcony!
2️⃣ You might catch peacocks displaying their feathers on the back mountain trail early in the morning.
3️⃣ Don’t forget to try the hotel’s own mountain spring water.

📌 Practical Information:
📍 Address: Qianrentai Village, Nansan Shilupu, National Highway 210
💴 Price Range: 500-800 RMB/night (varies in peak season)
🚗 Transportation: Recommended to drive or book hotel transfers

When you come to Yan'an, don’t just stay in the city! At Cuiquan, you can experience red culture and enjoy the healing nature of the mountains and fields. Waking up to birdsong in the morning is simply wonderful✨
