The Four Points by Sheraton Yangjiang City Center Hotel, built by the lake, is located near the municipal government in Yangdong District, Yangjiang City. It takes less than 15 minutes to get to the hotel from Yangjiang Station. In terms of location and environment, it is considered one of the best hotels in the city. Speaking of this Four Points by Sheraton hotel, when I saw the building from afar, I immediately felt like I was in the Middle East. As soon as I entered the main door, indeed!!! What came into view was a very stylish and luxurious dome, so amazing! The front desk quickly completed the check-in procedures. After completing the procedures, I took the elevator to the room I stayed in this time, a lake view suite on the 3rd floor (Room 328).

This room is divided into four areas: living room, bedroom, bathroom, and balcony. Except for the location of the bathroom (in the living room area) being a bit strange, I really love this room, especially the round bedroom, which is huge, and the windows on the wall have a bit of a European boutique hotel feel. The main colors of the room are different shades of deep blue and wood tones. The combination of these two colors makes the room feel very Four Points. The mini bar area is equipped with a capsule coffee machine. Although the small refrigerator does not have any drinks, it cools down quite quickly, a savior for ice water lovers. The welcome fruits and chocolates are very thoughtful. Compared to the empty mini bar, they are quite okay. One special thing to mention is that although the TV in the guest room is a domestic brand TCL, it not only has a screen mirroring function, but the welcome screen even has a welcome message with the guest's name, which is the first time I've seen this at Four Points.

Breakfast is served in the all-day dining restaurant next to the lobby. The restaurant is brightly decorated, with high ceilings and a large area! The dishes are commendable. Among so many dishes, the pig intestine rolls and fish ball noodles are my favorites. The hotel's pig intestine rolls are already delicious, but if you sprinkle a little more sesame, you will find it even tastier; the fried fish skin and fish balls in the fish ball noodles are well done, the fish skin is crispy, the fish balls are bouncy, and the rice noodles are thin and translucent, a perfect combination, love it! The wontons at the noodle station are thin-skinned and meaty, with a great texture; the pastries seem to have been left out for a while, as they taste just average, especially the waffles, which are very hard! The service is good, they proactively clean up the leftovers, thumbs up!

What left a special impression on me during this hotel stay was the obvious collision and great integration of the hotel's original Chinese luxury decoration style and the relaxed and youthful decoration style of Four Points by Sheraton. The renovation was very successful! On summer evenings, you can even sit by the balcony, enjoy the ever-changing sunset, and feel the unique charm of this castle hotel! I mean, isn't this renovated castle hotel just amazing?!
