ðThe Secretariat of Yangon is a historical site in Myanmar that is worth a visit.
Its highlight is its beautiful architecture: a red-orange brick building in colonial and Victorian style, built in a U-shape with a wooden interior.
ðHistorically significant: Built during the British colonial era in 1902, it served as the administrative center of the government and housed the Cabinet. It was also the site of the Declaration of Independence and the site of a significant event involving General Aung San in 1947.
ðThe building is currently closed since the relocation of the governor, but has been renovated and transformed into a tourist attraction. It hosts exhibitions, art shows, a cafe, and shops.
ðAdmission is free.
ðOpening hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
ðLocation: Thein Phyu Road, Middle Block, Yangon, Myanmar
