Phra That In Kaew, the stone of faith

Kyaiktiyo Rock is one of the five most sacred places in Myanmar. The hermit's head rock is a large golden rock located on a steep cliff face that looks like it will fall but is able to stand firmly. It is a miracle that it is believed to be a rock that Indra hung. There is a pagoda built on the rock, modeled after the Chulamani Glass Kesa, the sacred relic for people born in the year of the dog.
