Misty rain bay accommodation

I’m glad I chose this accommodation,after seeing that a friend previously booked into the hotel and had good things to share about the place.

Seeing that we left when the Typhoon was passing by in Shanghai and flights were being cancelled (on two occasions). The staff was very accommodating and would patiently help us book accordingly. They were ever soo attentive to our needs. The breakfast was nothing close to a western breakfast,though on request they would make some fried eggs for us.

Three hotels down the road there is a bar,and they usually have some live music and bbq late at night. The nice thing about the location is that it’s close to all the touristy things to do. The amazing hotel tourism agent would also help with booking activities for us,at times also arranging transport to pick and drop us. They really went on an extra mile with everything they did for us ,and were ever so friendly.

On the last day we even got upgraded to the front rooms which are amazing in terms of seeing the view from the window. They were also accommodating with this since it was a last minute booking because of our change in flights. The front building was great. Can’t say the same about the back one where we had the family room because the toilet kept getting blocked and the one day it got flooded in bathroom.

The rooftop makes for beautiful pictures,looks like Greece up there. Though I was disappointed that the pool is not meant for swimming and the other one was hardly filled.

We had an amazing stay though…and the location of the hotel was great in terms of all that we wanted to do.
