Yangshuo, Guilin, in autumn is truly a breathtaking holiday destination. For this trip, I chose the Yuyuan Jingshe Hotel, situated right on the shores of the Yulong River. Every morning, I could gaze out the window at the stunning scenery, and at sunset, the river was like a painting. The hotel itself isn't luxurious, but it's exquisite, offering a refined and off-the-beaten-path experience perfect for travelers seeking tranquility and close proximity to nature. The staff are friendly, responsive, and proactively recommend nearby attractions. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a minimalist design. The main attraction is the mountain and water views outside the window. Falling asleep to the sound of flowing water at night is truly soothing.

I highly recommend the osprey fishing show on the Yulong River, a unique local tradition. The recommended time for the show is in the evening, when the soft lighting makes for stunning photos. You can witness the ospreys diving for catches at the fisherman's command – the atmosphere is truly captivating. You can also experience a bamboo rafting tour, which is especially relaxing in autumn. Enjoy the breeze while admiring the mountain scenery on both sides.

Nearby attractions include the Ten-Mile Gallery, Moon Hill, and Yulong Bridge. Cycling along these stretches is a worthwhile stop for photos and photos. West Street is a lively and fun place to browse the night market and sample authentic local snacks.
