The guesthouse is nestled in the greenery beside the Yulong River, with wooden structures mixed with warm light, and even the breeze carries a gentle curve. The most stunning feature is the room’s 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows. When morning mist wraps the mountains, you can lie in bed and watch the ink wash painting unfold before your eyes. At dusk, the sunset dyes the river red, and every frame looks like a movie scene.

You must visit the sky mirror on the top floor! The mountain shadows reflect on the mirror surface, and standing there in a light-colored dress feels like stepping on clouds. The infinity pool is embedded in the mountains and wilderness; soaking in the water while viewing the Ten-Mile Gallery, even your breath is wrapped in the fresh scent of grass and trees.

Afternoon tea is a gift from the wilderness, with fresh fruit slices paired with clear tea. Sitting on the terrace, sipping slowly, listening to birdsong and insect chirps, watching the clouds roll and unfold. The host also offers free travel photography; whether on the lawn or by the window frame, every shot comes with a natural filter effect.

I also checked in at the newly opened Mountain Wilderness Collective Inn; the rooftop is so beautiful it left me speechless📸. I went up at dusk with my camera to snap casually, and every frame was wallpaper-worthy! The distant karst peaks layer upon layer, and when clouds drift by, it’s like a light veil covers the mountain tips. The rice fields and villages below form a healing oil painting, and even the wind carries the scent of grass and trees—this is the right way to enjoy a vacation in Yangshuo!

It’s very close to Impression Sanjie Liu and the Yulong River bamboo rafts. After a day of fun, return to the guesthouse and nestle in the lounge chair; the mountain breeze passes through, blowing away all fatigue.
