🏡Stayed in a super healing guesthouse on Dongguan Street
Found an amazing guesthouse this time!
"Reconstruction · Bing'ou House" made us not want to leave 😭
👉🏻3-minute walk to Pishi Street, super convenient for exploring and eating!
👉🏻Windows overlook gray brick roofs, small courtyard with bamboo grove and koi pond
👉🏻Bedding incredibly soft like sleeping on clouds ☁️ toiletries are actually Appelles
👉🏻The housekeeper was super nice! Helped with luggage and even gave us Yang's yogurt~
(⚠️Must book in advance! I snagged the last room two weeks ahead 😢)
·
🍜Foodie TIPS
▫️Pishi Street "Floating Life" - super fragrant osmanthus latte! Cup has Yangzhou logo
▫️Caiyi Street "Bajie Roasted Pig's Trotters" - so tender it sticks to your lips! 18 yuan for a large piece
▫️Dongguan Street "Simple Meal" - recommend lotus root balls + honey-glazed lotus root (Emperor Qianlong's favorite)
▫️Yang's yogurt jasmine flavor is the best! Direct sales point 3.5 yuan/cup
·
💡Tips:
❶Definitely wear comfortable shoes (my friend got huge blisters 😭)
❷Dongguan Street at night has such a vibrant atmosphere! When the lanterns light up, it's like time travel
❸Bring an oil-paper umbrella (for rain/sun/stylish photos)
