Dear friends👋, I recently found a photography secret place in Yangzhou that is beyond the movies!
It can be called a real-life version of the Fairy Tale of Oz. Not much to say, on the strategy😎.
🧭: Yangzhou Luyang Lake Wetland Park
🚗Driving: About 2 hours directly from Nanjing, you can enjoy the idyllic scenery along the way.
🚄High-speed rail + taxi: Nanjing South Station → Yangzhou East Station (about 50 minutes), take a taxi to the scenic spot about 40 minutes.
🎫Tickets: $10/person
🚣Rowing: Wooden boat 50 dollars/40 minutes (can seat three people)
There is a metasequoia forest on the left hand side of the entrance, which seems to be a real-life version of the Wizard of Oz. The green duckweed covered the water and the sunlight streamed through the seams of the branches and leaves of the metasequoia, making it look even more fantastic.
📸Photography guide
Wooden platform in the forest: Overhead shot of the loneliness surrounded by greenery, paired with a plain long dress or forest style outfit, full of atmosphere.
Water Forest Canyon: Wooden boats shuttle among the metasequoia forests, shooting reflections and the blend of light and shadow at low angles.
Sunset: The lake is flooded with amber soft light, which can be silhouetted against the light.
Drone: Aerial photography captures the geometric beauty of the metasequoia forest.
⏰ Shooting time
Summer early morning or evening: Soft light, avoid strong midday light.
(The photos I sent were taken after 4pm, I wanted to take the duckweed in the morning as much as possible)
Equipment: Sony A7m3 70-200
🌟提示:
The wetland park is more remote and surrounded by fields, there is nothing to do, and I personally think it is more suitable for photography enthusiasts [Chin].
⚠️ Attention
Mosquito repellent sunscreen: You can’t go wrong with mosquito repellent sunscreen when you come out in the summer.
Environmentally friendly travel: It is recommended to bring your own snacks. Do not litter.
