Healing Walk at Hyangiram in Yeosu with Family

A trip to Yeosu with my parents and wife! Our first stop was Hyangiram, located at the edge of Dolsando Island ๐Ÿ™โœจ

๐ŸŒธ The Path to Hyangiram

On the way to the ticket booth, there are rows of shops selling Yeosu specialties like gat kimchi and seaweed. We picked up a batch of gat kimchi from Seongsangol, a shop my mother always visits ๐Ÿฅฌ

There are two paths to reach the temple:

Stair Path: 10 minutes โซ
Flat Path: 15 minutes ๐Ÿšถ
We took the stair path up and the flat path down. Along the way, the cute Buddha statues and inscriptions scattered around brought a sense of calm to our hearts.

๐ŸŒŠ Hyangiram, a Temple on the Cliff

Hyangiram is a temple founded by the great Buddhist monk Wonhyo during the Silla Dynasty. Its name literally means **"Facing the Sun."**

Passing through a narrow path between rocks and entering the 'Hae Tal Mun' (Gate of Liberation), you'll find the bell pavilion and the main hall, which felt like a scene straight out of a movie ๐ŸŽฅ

The view of the South Sea beyond the temple is truly breathtaking! Although the weather was slightly overcast when we visited, so we couldn't see as far as Yokjido Island, the expansive ocean view was enough to clear our minds ๐ŸŒ…
