✅ Xidi Ancient Village:
The biggest surprise this time was Xidi! You can see everywhere in the ancient buildings the Huizhou people's philosophy of life and business heritage; also, the bench dragon flower lantern night tour performed by elders and students together made me sigh, "Youthful nature is something unattainable";
And the ancient village in the early morning mist is quiet and peaceful, with grandmas washing clothes by the creek, rice fields and autumn-harvested crops bathed in the morning sun, full of energy🌾!
📸 Must-shoot spots in Xidi:
1️⃣ Hu Wenguang Archway + Corn Dragon, Xidi landmark, the archway in the dawn is even more stunning!
2️⃣ Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, the same moon gate as in "Joy of Life"
3⃣️ Back creek + alleys, casual shots are "small bridges, flowing water, and homes"
4⃣️ "Twisting and turning" embroidery building, experience the wisdom of "not yielding to the world above nor the earth below, but yielding three parts in the middle for harmony"
5⃣️ East Garden & West Garden: must-see Xidi’s three treasures~ wood carving, stone carving, brick carving
6⃣️ Viewing platform: here you can overlook the whole village, super beautiful at sunset on a clear day, great for portraits🉑 with scenery as the background and people as the focus.

✅ Hongcun: South Lake and Moon Pond are must-visits; using the lake water as the foreground to shoot ancient buildings gives more of the ink-wash Huizhou artistic conception~
✅ Tachuan: No need to say much about Tachuan’s autumn colors, it can be said to be the top spot for autumn viewing in Anhui! Best time around November 10
