The ultimate autumn scenery in Southern Anhui! A 5-day in-depth travel guide to Tachuan and Hongcun

🍂“Why do I feel something is missing after scrolling through all the autumn views online?” Recently healed by the autumn in Jinan, I decided to head south with a friend to explore Tachuan, one of "China's Four Great Autumn Scenes"! It turns out that autumn in Southern Anhui is the masterpiece of Jiangnan.

📅 Itinerary planning:
▫️ Early to mid-late November is the peak season for autumn colors in Tachuan, where red leaves and Huizhou-style architecture blend into a painting
▫️ Hongcun is only 2 kilometers from Tachuan, recommended to visit both together (time-saving and convenient)

📸 Must-visit spots:
❶ Entrance of Tachuan Village: an ink painting in the morning mist
❷ Five towering trees: a century-old ancient tree group + red leaf tunnel
❸ Qishu Lake (off the beaten path): lake surface reflecting fiery red dawn redwoods
❹ Xieli Village (hidden gem): terraced fields with red leaves, few people and beautiful scenery

🍲 Taste explosion:
✔️ Stinky mandarin fish (smells bad but tastes delicious)
✔️ Fermented tofu (a wonderful fermented flavor)
✔️ Yixian crispy cake + Huangshan baked cake (perfect for binge-watching)

💌“Autumn here feels like time’s favorite, every frame looks like a carefully arranged oil painting.” Who are you ready to share this autumn date with? Tell me your favorite spot to visit in the comments~
