The first encounter with this homestay immediately captivated me with its prime riverside location. The moment I opened the door, a floor-to-ceiling window unveiled a breathtaking panorama of the Yangtze River. The gray-white eaves and the shimmering water surface formed a natural picture frame, with the breeze carrying a refreshing hint of moisture. At dusk, the setting sun painted the river in golden-red hues, and cargo ships glided by slowly, as if time itself had slowed down—this is exactly what I envision as the perfect "river view room."

The room's details were equally delightful: the bedding was as soft as clouds freshly warmed by the sun, and the smart devices were all top-notch, even the hairdryer was from a renowned brand. The highlight was the standalone bathtub by the window—fill it with hot water and bath salts, and you can soak while gazing at the river view, feeling as though you've stepped into a secret garden in the clouds. Cleanliness was impeccable, with floors so spotless you could walk barefoot without a worry, bathroom tiles scrubbed to a shine, and towels folded into adorable animal shapes.

Mornings began with the gentle call of river mist, enjoying breakfast on the terrace. Afternoons were perfect for a stroll along the riverside trail, and evenings were spent lounging on the sofa, watching the lights across the river gradually illuminate. The river breeze, carrying a touch of moisture, softly brushed by, even infusing dreams with ripples of the river.

From the homestay, it's incredibly convenient to explore nearby attractions. Whether it's driving along the G348 highway to check out the "Windmill Exploration" hotspot, a 10-minute drive to the Three Gorges Dam to witness the awe-inspiring engineering marvel, or delving into the Tujia culture at the Three Gorges Tribe, everything is within easy reach. The host's thoughtfully hand-drawn travel map adds a sense of anticipation to every outing.
