Lanyang Museum - before the exhibition halls

a pretty sight of the Lanyang museum, from far and near. This museum is located next to Wushigang Harbor where one can learn about the history, culture, landscape, and natural beauty of Yilan.

The architecture of the musuem was inspired by natural elements found locally such as the cuesta, a rock-form commonly found along the northeast coast of Taiwan.

you have to pay to visit and view the exhibitions but entry to the building to admire the architecture is free of charge+
