I have been to Taipei many times, but this is my first time in Yilan. This time I will try to stay at a hot spring hotel in Jiaoxi for a night. Crystal Spring Fung Travel is about a 3-minute walk from Reef Station and less than 10 minutes to Reef Transfer Station. There are convenience stores, Cosmed, and souvenir stores near the hotel.
The hotel has a large bath, located on the top floor, is infinity, where you can take a bath while enjoying the view of the reef stream. There are also fitness and yoga rooms. During Happy Hour, the lobby has green tea, detox water, red and white wine 🍷 and snacks for guests to enjoy.
We booked an elegant queen room. The room is very big, once you enter there is a closet, next to the cabinet for the refrigerator, kettle, Japanese teapot, tea cups. Tea bags, coffee bags, Pocari in the refrigerator, Coke, and face masks are all free to customers. The double bed is very big, enough for 3 people to sleep. There is a sofa next to the bed, which is also big enough for 1 person to sleep on. The space is full and very comfortable. There is a water tank on the terrace of this room type for bathing🛁. There are some bamboos and a Japanese lamp next to it, wearing the yukata provided by the hotel, Japanese flip-flops 🩴, you can take a pseudo-Japanese trip. The toilet board is plugged in and it’s warm and comfortable to sit on. The hotel provides guests with toothbrushes🪥, earplugs, soap🧼, makeup sponge, rubber bands, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion. If you need a shower cap, razor, you can pick it up at the front desk.
Room rate includes breakfast for 2, at the on-site Japanese restaurant Sanyaki. Breakfast is a buffet with plenty of choices, but compared to the usual buffet breakfast, there are more health foods such as Buddha bowl, açai bowl, detox juice and so on. After taking a bath and enjoying these health-preserving foods, I feel that my body and mind have been washed.
