Wanglongpi is located in Zhenshan Village, Yuanshan Township, Yilan. It is a barrier lake formed by mountain torrents and landslides. Since Wanglongpi is a mountain lake, the water level depends entirely on the amount of rainfall. The locals named the lake "Wanglong" with the intention of praying for abundant rain.

This mountain lake once became popular because it was the setting for an idol drama. Although the idol drama fans have lost interest in it over time, the clear green water of Wanglongpi Lake is still sparkling and endearing.
The lakeside trail surrounding Wanglongpi is flat and easy to walk on, making it a great place for the whole family to walk and digest food during the Spring Festival.

Cross the slender and winding Nine-Curve Bridge to the small island in the turquoise lake. There is a rest pavilion called "Wanglong Pavilion" on the island. Visiting in the summer, you can enjoy the cool breeze, feel the moisture from the mountains moistening your skin, and sit in the pavilion to experience the comfortable feeling of the cool breeze caressing your skin. It is truly poetic.
