Yingde Hongqi Tea Factory

Hongqi Tea Factory is located next to Xiucai Reservoir in Yinghong Town, Yingde City, Guangdong Province. It is situated in Kengkouzui, Yingde City, Guangdong Province, adjacent to the Tea Research Institute of the Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Originally under the jurisdiction of the Guangdong Yinghong Overseas Chinese Tea Farm, it has a long history of black tea production. Established in 1958, it is recognized as the birthplace of the Yingde black tea industry, laying the foundation for modern Yingde black tea processing techniques. It holds a significant position in the history and technological evolution of the Yingde black tea industry in China. Its development journey is also a microcosm of the history of Yingde black tea development.
