Yingde Hongqi Tea Factory

The Hongqi Tea Factory is located next to the Xiucai Reservoir in Yinghong Town, Yingde City, Guangdong Province, and is adjacent to the Tea Research Institute of the Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences. It was formerly under the jurisdiction of the Yinghong Overseas Chinese Tea Farm of Guangdong Province. It has a long history of black tea production and was built in 1958. It is recognized by the Yingde black tea industry as the birthplace of Yingde black tea. It laid the foundation for Yingde's modern black tea technology and occupies an important position in the history of China's black tea production.
In June 2024, Yingde Hongqi Tea Factory was awarded the title of "The Second Batch of Provincial Research and Practice Education Base for Primary and Secondary School Students".
