The cradle of Yingde black tea

Spend an afternoon strolling around the Hongqi Tea Factory. It is located next to the Xiucai Reservoir in Yinghong Town, Yingde City, Guangdong Province. Built in 1958, it was formerly a state-owned tea factory with a long history of black tea production. Its Yinghong No. 9 black tea has established the status of Yingde black tea in the black tea world.
It has now become a diversified place, a cultural and creative place that integrates tea production, entertainment, gardening, cafes, and workshops.
