Chendu Thatched Cottage, located in Changzhou Jingchuan Park, was named after the study of Mr. Tang Jingchuan, a famous anti-Japanese hero and writer during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. It was built in September 1989. Surrounded by rockery and ponds, it is surrounded by lush green grass and trees.

There are the Wuyan Building (which was Jingchuan's study building in the past), the Lanyun Pavilion named after the Lanyun Taoist, the Yaxi Pavilion (stage) and the Chunchi Pavilion . In the middle, there is a sound-controlled musical fountain pool and a 280- meter winding water corridor. There are two round moon doors on the west wing wall, and there are numerous murals and stone carvings of celebrities, which can be said to be ancient and quaint.
