Want to experience the feeling of "driving through a painting" in Guangdong? Yingxi Peak Forest is a must-visit! With hundreds of grayish-green peaks stretching endlessly, rice fields, streams, and ancient villages nestled in between, you can explore all the core attractions in one day. Every snapshot you take will look like a traditional Chinese ink painting!
🚩 Qianjun Peak Forest: The "opening chapter" of the peak forest that you can see as soon as you drive in. Hundreds of sharp peaks stand like rows of soldiers. It's especially ethereal in the early morning mist. Stop by the roadside to capture a panoramic view, and your friends will immediately ask for the location.
🚩 Rongqiang Little Guilin: A solitary peak surrounded by streams. You can take a bamboo raft ride (affordable fee) along the water. As you gently paddle, the peaks reflect in the water, making you feel like you're in Guilin. Light-colored outfits make for stunning photos.
🚩 Chuantian Cave: A natural karst cave in a village with a "sky hole" at the top. Sunlight streams in, creating light spots. The cave is cool and quiet, and a 5-10 minute visit is just right.
🚩 Peng Family Ancestral Hall: Known as the "Little Potala Palace" on the mountaintop. Climb a few dozen steps to overlook the peak forest and rice fields. The brick walls exude a sense of history, and taking silhouette photos on the city wall creates a great atmosphere.
🚩 Jiulong Town: Features a rainbow railway, lotus pond, and a lake reflecting the peaks. Rent a bike to ride along the lake, enjoy the breeze, and take in the scenery. Perfect for families or those who love a fresh and natural vibe.
🚩 Underground River Cave: Take a small boat to explore. The stalactites illuminated by lights are dreamy, and you can hear the sound of water droplets as you glide through. Remember to wear non-slip shoes.
🚩 Xiao Zhaozhou Bridge (Yongfeng Ancient Bridge): A must-photograph ancient bridge in Yingxi! Its single-arch crescent shape is unique, built entirely with stacked stones without any piers. Covered in climbing vines, the bridge, its reflection, and the distant mountains form a breathtaking landscape painting.
💡 Tips: Driving is the most convenient option (about 2.5 hours from Guangzhou). The attractions are 3-5 kilometers apart, and you can also rent an electric scooter. It's best to arrive before 9 a.m. to avoid the midday sun; the morning mist makes for better photos. For lunch, try local farmhouse dishes in the village, such as free-range chicken and tofu.
