Who would've thought! After wandering Yining's Six-Star Street until my feet ached, this homestay healed me so much I didn't want to leave😭 Sharing my stay experience at "Xinghe Yueshe" – girls, take notes and just go for it!
🌿 A "Secluded Courtyard" Hidden in the Scenic Area
Located in the heart of Six-Star Street, pushing open the wooden gate feels like stepping into a paradise:
- Blue-tiled white walls adorned with green plants and flower racks, courtyard furnished with wicker chairs and a small tea table, plus an adorable chubby cat. Sipping tea here at dusk watching the sunset, you get both the lively vibe and poetic charm~
- Rooms come with a small balcony/bay window. Open the window to see the colorful old street houses and tree shades – every shot is a "Slow Life in Yili" cover!
👀 Detail Lovers Rejoice! More Comfortable Than Home
As a picky person, I genuinely applaud these designs:
✅ The homestay features blue-toned decor, even prettier in person. Warm lighting + pure cotton bedding ensure instant, stress-free sleep.
✅ The bathroom has a dry-wet separation setup, complete with a smart toilet and an oversized vanity mirror.
✅ Free laundry room + dryer available, saving road-trippers from dirty clothes~
📍 Unbeatable Location! Step Out to Happiness
- 2-minute walk to "Gulandanmu Ice Cream" and "Russian Bread House" – carb-loading for breakfast made easy.
- At dusk, stroll to the street corner to watch Uyghur uncles play the dombra and kids dancing the Meshrep in the square – pure local vibes~
- The owners can even help arrange chartered rides to Sayram Lake/Xiata – lazy travel plans sorted with one click!
💬 Lastly, Shoutout to the Homestay Hosts
Run by a young couple who'll chat with you about Yili's hidden gems and even lend you a camera for street photography📸 They gifted me handmade lavender sachets as farewell presents – this "treated like friends" warmth is more memorable than the scenery~
Skip hotels in Yining! Retreat to this old courtyard in Six-Star Street and experience the romance of "opening the door to the world, closing it to cozy vibes"~ 🌟
