A Lazy One-Day Tour in Yili City|Living Life in Slow Motion

Who says Yili only has grasslands and flower seas? The relaxed vibe hidden in the city is the local's secret joy! I personally tested this route—delicious food, great photo spots, and no rush. Especially "Li Zhi Canteen," which captured both my stomach and heart~

At noon, head straight to "Li Zhi Canteen," a hidden gem tucked in a residential area. The storefront is a gentle creamy white, and stepping inside feels like entering a close friend's cozy living room. The underrated "Tom Yum Soup" and "Pizza🍕" have a crispy bite, but the biggest surprise is the "Osmanthus Latte." The osmanthus aroma is fragrant without being overly sweet, perfectly blending with the coffee. Sharing photos online immediately had everyone asking for the address~

In the afternoon, rush to "Six Star Street," where wandering without navigation is the most comfortable! The blue-green Uyghur houses are covered in vines, and around the corner, you might meet a grandfather playing the accordion. Buy some freshly baked kvass and roasted buns, sit at the alley entrance watching pigeons fly by—the breeze itself carries a leisurely feeling.

Six Star Street in Yili is a must-visit! Bringing the grassland into a restaurant with a nomadic-style food nest, when you’re exhausted from strolling (see photos 13 and 14), lift the curtain and step inside. This Kazakh-themed restaurant immediately captivates you! From the embroidered door curtains at the entrance to the wool tapestries inside, every detail exudes the romance of nomadic culture. Dining here feels like crashing a family feast inside a grassland yurt. Immersed in the nomadic atmosphere, casually snap ethnic-style photos while listening to folk music, eating meat, and drinking milk tea. Even the evening breeze carries the tenderness of the grassland—this is the true way to experience Yili~🥳
