The Yixing Museum is a great place for photos!

I added a shop owner on WeChat who sells Yixing clay teapot fridge magnets. She said this is the first year for Yixing tourism. I originally wanted to go to Kiln Lake Town, but it was too popular and there were no rooms available. No worries, I visited the trendy Taoerchang instead. Even on the ninth day of the Lunar New Year, there were still quite a few people. The market was gone, and you could see that many shops weren't fully set up yet. But it's a really photogenic place, and it's a very short and pleasant walk from Taoerchang to Shushan Ancient South Street. I only passed through Yixing briefly, but I really liked it. The clay teapot fridge magnets are also super cute. I'll definitely go back.
PS: The museum isn't fully developed yet, with a limited collection. Currently, it's not really worth buying a ticket to go inside (unless you're an artist). Taking photos outside is more than enough.
