Taking advantage of a break, I went to Jiangxi with my sisters and unexpectedly discovered a lesser-known secret spot—Guifeng⛰.
Guifeng in Jiangxi is not only a World Natural Heritage site and a World Geopark but also a national 5A-level tourist attraction.
Fewer people, beautiful scenery—red cliffs of Danxia rise steeply, strange peaks shrouded in mist; boats glide over clear waves, passing through green fairyland, every scene like a painting.

🏞 There are 3 hiking routes of different difficulty levels to choose from‍♀
I chose the Xiake Route (about 8km, can be completed in 3.5 hours)

【Green Fairyland】
🌫 The most captivating is Green Fairyland, with mist swirling around, like stepping into a real-life “Lord of the Rings” forest.
The dense forest and thick leaves make you feel like you’ve crossed a “dimensional gate.” Sunlight filters through the leaves, and the air is filled with moist greenery—this is the exclusive sense of freedom that belongs to Guifeng. Wear light-colored or fairy-style dresses here for photos, perfect for a stunning nine-grid post on social media~

【Guifeng Lake (Boat & Bamboo Raft)】
The biggest surprise is the bamboo raft on the lake; the water is so clear it reflects the sky, and every shot looks amazing💧.
The lake water is as clear as a mirror, the gentlest reflection of the peaks. Taking a boat ride lets you admire the grand mountain views, while sitting on a bamboo raft is more poetic, slowly gliding across the lake as if time itself slows down.

【Jinzhong Peak】
From the top of Jinzhong Peak, you can see the entire Guifeng landscape, with beautiful scenery all around! There’s a little surprise at the summit—a playful rocking horse, truly unique!

Guifeng at night is even more imaginative than during the day. When light and shadow blend with the night, the mountains are no longer just mountains but flowing poetry and dreams.

Travel tips:
