The Ultimate Summer Escape: The Nearest Rafting Scenic Spot to Guangdong

Every summer, my friends and I come to Mangshan Rafting in Chenzhou to beat the heat.
This time, we discovered the nearby Swallow Rock, a true summer paradise.
Hidden within a karst cave is a fairy-tale world, featuring not only a cave café but also a cave restaurant.
The ambiance is incredible—cool in summer and warm in winter, making it the perfect summer retreat!

-🎒 Packing List:
Bring a change of clothes and toiletries (shampoo and body wash). Towels are also required.
Wear closed-toe shoes like Crocs or sandals with heel straps—no flip-flops or bare feet allowed on the raft.
Waterproof phone case, goggles, and water fight tools (water scoops, guns, or buckets).
A dry bag for wet/dry separation.

❌ Wear long sleeves and pants, and apply sunscreen. Avoid light-colored clothes to prevent awkward moments when wet.

‼️ If you purchased tickets online yesterday, exchange them for paper tickets on-site. If not, you can buy them at the venue today!
❗️ Note: The paper rafting ticket requires two check-ins, so keep it safe after exchange.

✌ Full route: 9.8 km (2.5 hours); Family route: 4.5 km (1 hour).
🚤 Rafts accommodate 5-6 people. Smaller groups can team up with others on-site.

💟 After rafting, changing rooms with hot showers, makeup mirrors, hairdryers, and power outlets are available—no worries about post-rafting freshening up!

Accommodation & Dining:
We stayed at the newly opened Yunyin Mountain Homestay (with elevator access—great overall experience).
Meals were enjoyed at the hotel’s restaurant, which served delicious food.
