📍 Hakkei Issho Stepping Stones

A remnant of the path traveled by travelers long ago, walking along the coast and admiring the islands. Not far from Kanazawa-Hakkei Station, a pair of stepping stones resembling a 1.8L bottle of sake remains discreetly tucked away in a residential area.
• Nowadays, a small shrine and a signboard are the landmarks. While few tourists visit, this place offers a glimpse into one of the origins of the place's name, "Hakkei."
• History buffs might also want to visit to see the Edo-period ukiyo-e prints of Kanazawa Hakkei.

⛪ Kanto Gakuin University Chapel

Kanto Gakuin University's beautiful chapel stands in the center of the Kanazawa-Hakkei campus. Built with brick, it exudes a modern yet serene solemn atmosphere.
• In addition to being used for Sunday services and campus ceremonies, it is also open to the public on certain days, so we recommend checking in advance.
• Popular among students as a place of spiritual peace. Occasional chapel events featuring chapel music and pipe organ performances are also held.

🌿 Nojima Park

• Historical landmarks dot the park, including the Commemorative Memorial for Commemorating Perry's Landing and the former Ito Hirobumi Villa (free interior tours available).

51st Kanazawa Festival Fireworks Display / Kanazawa Ward, Yokohama

Saturday, August 30, 2025, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM (Scheduled)

This fireworks display will be held at Umi no Koen in Kanazawa Ward, Yokohama. Approximately 3,500 fireworks will be launched over a 60-minute period. Colorful fireworks will be launched into the Yokohama night sky from the waters surrounded by Hakkeijima, Umi no Koen, and Nojima. A series of diverse star mines will add a touch of color to the display, and the annual extra-large star mine will be the finale. Admission is free, and you can enjoy the fireworks from the sand or the park's lawns. "
