See Yokohama City...Nippon Maru Ship

In the afternoon, I left Hase and headed back to Yokohama to meet up with a Japanese friend who lives near Yokohama.

The train arrived on time. We walked and chatted while enjoying the view of the seaside of Yokohama. We passed an important landmark of the port city, the Nippon Maru.

The Nippon Maru was a training ship for sailing for centuries. It has now been decommissioned after traveling tens of thousands of nautical miles, but it still stands tall in Yokohama Bay and is a museum of memories for people to learn from.

The surrounding area is filled with office buildings, hotels, companies, department stores, and a leisure area for the city’s residents.

Let’s walk around and take a look around.
