It's the weekend! Time to get out and explore! This time, I decided to embark on a pilgrimage from Shangqiu to Foguang Temple in Yongcheng. The scenery and experiences along the way were fantastic, so I'm here to share this guide with you 👇

🚗 Transportation:
From Shangqiu, you can choose to drive or take public transportation. If you're driving, simply enter "Foguang Temple, Yongcheng" into your navigation app and follow the directions. The road conditions are pretty good. If you opt for public transportation, you can first go to the Yongcheng Bus Station and then transfer to a local bus or take a taxi to Foguang Temple. Although it's slightly more complicated, it's still quite convenient.

🎈 Foguang Temple:
Upon arriving at Foguang Temple, you'll be enveloped by a sense of tranquility and peace. The temple's architecture is simple yet elegant, and the incense is strong. After entering the temple, follow the signs to visit each hall and offer your sincere prayers to Buddha. The monks here are very kind and will patiently answer any questions you may have. Strolling through the temple, listening to the bells, and watching the swirling incense smoke, your heart will find an unusual sense of calm.

Nearby Attractions:
The scenery around Foguang Temple is also beautiful! You can take a walk in the surrounding mountains and forests, breathe in the fresh air, and experience the beauty of nature. There are also some local specialty snack shops where you can taste authentic cuisine, such as Yongcheng's Longgang Roasted Chicken and Xuehu Beef Shui Jian Bao (pan-fried dumplings). They are absolutely delicious 😋
