If I didn't tell you, you might think I was in Utah, or in the Cappadocia Mountains in Turkey, but I never thought that there are such magnificent and beautiful scenery like in another world in our Yunnan!
This is Langbapu, a geological wonder that many people who travel to Yunnan will miss.
This special landform was formed more than 10,000 years ago through long-term water erosion and weathering.
There are many earth pillars in various shapes.
Before entering the core area, it is like knocking on the magical door of "One Thousand and One Nights".
From a distance, it looks like countless palaces standing there. As the light changes over time, the "palaces" will show different colors, purple and red. From different angles, it is a beautiful picture, making people marvel at the wonders of nature.
The Langbapu Earth Forest is divided into four viewing areas. Area 4 is what I think is the most shocking and concentrated area. Steep earth forests stretch before your eyes, and the visual impact is really strong!
Different from the popular and famous "Wumao Earth Forest" nearby, there is almost no commercial development here, and you can't even buy a bottle of water. This is also the reason why we chose to come to Langbapu Earth Forest. The most primitive natural ecology is preserved here, and almost no one visits here on weekdays. You can stop and quietly admire the fantastic earth forest landforms.
Tips:
1. Bring your own dry food and water.
2. Those who like hiking can walk directly from the entrance. If you want to save energy, you can take an electric car at the door to the nearest drop-off point to the designated location, and then walk into the earth forest.
