Here is the romantic story of "The shadows of flowers sway against the wall, I wonder if it is a beautiful lady coming"; this is an important birthplace of Chinese civilization; this is the earliest place called China.
This is Yuncheng, formerly known as "Hedong", east of the Yellow River.
1. There is a salt pond in Yuncheng
Huangdi and Yandi "formed an alliance" here, and Chiyou was "overthrown" and fell into the lake here. The Battle of Zhuolu ended with Huangdi defeating Chiyou. Eventually, the Yanhuang and Chiyou tribes merged with each other, thus starting the glorious history of Chinese civilization.
2. There are Shun and Yu in Yuncheng
Yao, Shun and Yu are recognized as saints by all the later philosophers. During their rule, they promulgated the seasonal laws of agricultural production, improved government laws, controlled floods, expanded territory, created music and rituals, and created the abdication system and initially formed the political form of the "country".
3. Yuncheng has the capital of Xia
Xia is the first dynasty in Chinese history. It is the beginning of the ancient Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties.
It developed on the basis of the culture of Tang Yao and Yu Shun, and it rose in Hedong.
4. Yuncheng has 102 national protected sites. Shanxi is a province with many ancient buildings, and Yuncheng is the most famous one. It is the prefecture-level city with the most national protected areas.
The only city in the country that ranks ahead of Yuncheng is Beijing.
When it comes to national protection, ancient Chinese capitals such as Xi'an, Luoyang, Kaifeng, Nanjing, etc. have to stand aside compared to Yuncheng.
