I want to eat kaiseki and enjoy the hot springs, but the ryokans in Yufuin are too expensive😭 The basics are all in the 600,000~700,000 won range😟
After lining up ryokans on Trip.com, I diligently searched for reviews on Instagram and blogs,
and I found a ryokan with a great value for money that didn't have many Koreans (important★ㅋㅋ), so I decided to stay here for this trip to Yufuin!😘
My husband and I didn't have any children, but there were a lot of families with children in the ryokan! #I think this will be helpful for those looking for a ryokan that allows children!

1⃣Unlimited draft beer!!🍻
-There's no reason for beer lovers not to go!
2️⃣A cute interior with a mini waterfall and a stream!
-It's great for taking pictures. Since the building is on the small side, tall people are recommended to squat down and take pictures!
3️⃣Kaiseki🍱 and breakfast🍙 eaten in the dining hall!
-You can really feel like you're on a trip while eating authentic Japanese home cooking popular among Japanese people☺
4️⃣A 3-minute walk from Kinrinko Lake!
-There are also a lot of charter buses that come to see Kinrinko Lake! It was nice that I could go anywhere because it was close by at dawn and sunset🥰

🚩A tip

1️⃣The family bath has two designs👐
-If you're going, I recommend trying both designs
2️⃣There's no water in the room!
-In Korea, they always give you two bottles of water, but that's not always the case in Japan! The nearest convenience store is about a 10-minute walk away, so don't walk too long and buy some snacks or water on your way in! 3️⃣The shops in Yufuin close early🚪
-The cafe I was going to close at 5:30 on Google Maps, so I went there around 4:50, but it was already -closed-😥 Yufuin is a small town, so many places close quickly, so it would be better to explore the town early during the day!
4️⃣Communication in English wasn't smooth when checking in
-The staff member who greeted me might not have been able to communicate in English, but I used Papago anyway. I think it would be good to prepare simple Japanese conversation or Papago. It was convenient because there were staff who spoke simple Korean while eating kaiseki 😋
