Kyushu Yufuin popular tourist spot, the dreamy Kinrin Lake

In early spring, visit the popular spot #Yufuin on the Kyushu Oita Line. After parking the car, we stepped onto the main shopping street of Yufuin. It was really full of shopping malls and crowds of tourists. Fortunately, after turning a corner and heading towards the river bank, we saw the pastoral scenery again.

A must-visit attraction when visiting Yufuin is #金麟湖. Kinlin Lake is about 400 meters long and 2 meters deep. Hot springs gush out on the west side of the lake bottom, and clear water on the east side. It's magical!

In the mornings between autumn and winter, when the hot springs and clean water mix, a thin mist will form on the water surface due to the temperature difference, which makes it look like a fairyland and very dreamy.

There is a stone torii on one side of the lake, which is a good place for taking photos. There are also many tea shops and hot spring hotels on both sides, which are quaint and full of flavor. It's really relaxing to stay here for a night and enjoy the tranquility of Kinrinko Lake.
