📝What kind of place is it?
This is a historic shrine that is said to have been founded during the reign of Emperor Tenchi in Nara. It is said that Minamoto no Yoritomo prayed there in 1180 when he raised an army in Izu, and it enshrines the god of longevity and hot springs. In the quiet grounds, the sacred camphor tree, about 850 years old, and the old ginkgo tree exude a divine presence, and the air is pure. The grounds are also home to the Seven Lucky Gods of Yugawara, so you can receive good fortune while you stroll around.

- Take the bus (bound for Oku-Yugawara/Fudotaki) from JR Yugawara Station for about 3-5 minutes, then get off at the "Gosho Shrine" stop ﹣You can also walk for about 10-15 minutes
